The Good Samaritan Society – Hot Springs Village is in the heart of this premier planned retirement community. Residents have access to all the Village has to offer, including 12 fishing and boating lakes, three marinas, eight golf courses, 16 tennis courts, indoor and outdoor swimming pools and numerous other amenities right inside its gates. In addition to all this and more, Good Samaritan Society campus residents have access to all of the supportive medical services at Hot Springs Village and the cities of Hot Springs, Benton and Little Rock.
The Good Samaritan Society campus offers a variety of living arrangements to suit your needs at different stages of your retirement. There are six large, luxurious, two-bedroom, two-bath duplexes and 79 one-, two- or three-bedroom aparments and two guest rooms in Cedar Lodge Senior Housing with Services. Twenty-five private, one-bedroom assisted living apartments are available in Greenwood Manor for persons beginning to need help with daily living skills such as cooking, bathing, dressing or medication reminders.
A 24-hour rehabilitation and skilled care center provides a wide range of healthcare services and is proud to be a Christian, non-profit organization, caring for the whole person, body and soul. The pride of Hot Springs Village, the Good Samaritan Society Healthcare Center is an exemplary skilled care community that provides care to 50 people living in three homelike “neighborhoods” on a long- and short-term recuperative basis. The first neighborhood is Jericho Road, a place where residents needing more acute medical services receive care. The second is a special needs neighborhood called Emmaus Road, which serves residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other age-related dementias. Road to Recovery serves persons needing short-term rehabilitative care and features private rooms, a private dining room and in-patient therapy services just steps away. Outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapy may be obtained by persons living off campus at 702 DeSoto Blvd. The healthcare center is Medicare-certified, and as a not-for-profit organization, donations to the Good Samaritan Society are tax deductible within IRS regulations.
Either located within Hot Springs Village, or operated by the campus, are a variety of auxiliary services, including Good Samaritan Village Transit, Good Samaritan Society — Home Care, Fit for Life Therapy and Wellness Center, Simply Kids Preschool and Childcare, and Senior College classes.
