| As
we grow older, many of us require help with daily living tasks,
but may not need a skilled level of nursing home care. To accommodate
this stage in life, Good Samaritan Village has begun a $4 million
development: Good Samaritan Assisted Living,
a Level II facility, which will offer 33 living units.
The Assisted Living concept is a special combination
of residential housing with personal care services including assistance
with grooming, bathing, meals, etc., or health care. For example,
assistance with medications and/or daily or weekly blood pressure
checks. Assisted Living units provide 24-hour supervision designed
to meet the individual needs of each resident.
Within Good Samaritan Village’s Christian
Community of Care, residents are encouraged to take part in social
activities that help achieve and maintain psychological, social,
physical, and spiritual well-being.
Our Assisted Living Facility will be located in
a separate building on the grounds of Good Samaritan Village of
Mountain Home. Each unit will have a living room, bedroom, bath,
kitchenette and dining area. Spacious common areas in the Assisted
Living Facility will allow residents to enjoy opportunities for
social activities and dining together.
Good Samaritan Village of Mountain Home Assisted
Living is available to both private pay and Medicaid-eligible residents. |
